We're so far apart,
My soul is lost without you.
Our cries pierce the sky in unison,
Like a tortured soul
Being ripped to shreds.
Our hearts are linked,
By the threads of love,
Of hope,
Of the belief that
There is more to life
Than that is seen.  
Our tears they  fiercely fall,
Down our cheeks in silence,
Besides the sudden gasps
Of sorrowful depression.
As we cannot wait,
For our reunion,
To come.

Lately, I've been feeling a bit depressed and such, and I wrote this poem out to my boyfriend, ~mattco08 I know he likes it, and I hope everyone else will too :] Comments are nice.

I know how you feel,
With this brief seperation,
That sweeps a nation of love.
Is this feeling real?
Or is it an exageration,
That sweeps a colony of love.
This feeling could kill,
As though self mutilation,
Could save this city of love.
I know how you feel,
With this fierce anticipation,
As I return to the Household
Of Love.

That's really pretty in a sad kinda way...I like it lots ^^ But I have a request: could the font be a little bit bigger next time? I'm blind in my right eye, according to my optometrist (or if not blind, then very, very close) so its not easy for me to see tiny words, ya know? lol

Thanks, I guess you can blame Mr. P. for that one actually. He had given me the idea during the year when I was writing a short story; It definitley works.
